About Intelligent Installations

Intelligent Installations specialise in soft Technology services, specifically Website Design/Development, Cyber Security and Cloud Computing. Owned and operated by Computer Science QUT student Joshua Locke, Intelligent Installations began in December 2022. Since then I’ve been able to work with a couple small, local businesses and build them websites, and in the middle of 2023 I decided to expand into Cyber Security and Cloud Computing. In the past 8 months I’ve been studying, passed exams and achieved Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundmanetals (AZ-900), Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200) and Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (SC-204). I’m now studying for Microsoft Certified: Cyber Security Expert and once passed I’ll begin Microsoft Certified: DevOps Expert. With profits from my business I’m saving up to pay off my uni fees immediately, buy my first motorbike and travel overseas (probaly America).

How much do you charge?

Website jobs are issued a free quote before beginning the project, but most sites will be at least $1,000. Factors such as the quantity of pages, the complexity of the design and the functionality requirements (login, logout, payments). For a 5 page typical Website, it’s usually aroud $1,500. We do not charge GST.

What’s your process?

We follow a progressive payment process to ensure clients are are kept up to date and both parties are on the same page in regards to what is being developed and paid for.

1. Quote and negotiation
2. 30% Project Kick Off Payment
3. 40% 1st Draft Website Approved
4. 30% Final Touches approved and Website Live
5. Issue Final Invoice and end
